Whippet Golfers Second At Minden Triangular

The Minden Whippets golf team hosted the Minden Triangular at the Minden Country Club on April 5 in warm and breezy conditions.
Minden hosted the Holdrege Dusters and Lexington Minutemen in triangular action. Holdrege won the meet with a team total of 174 followed by the Whippets at 184 and Lexington in third with a 192.
The Dawgs were led by Carson Blum and Luke Pieper in the nine-hole event. Blum shot the low round for the team, firing a 43 followed closely by Pieper with a 44.
Jake Myers was next with a 47 followed by Trevor Kuehn and Isaac Carlson both with 50s. Derek Kissinger completed the team with a score of 52.
