Whippets Defeat Lexington

The Class C-1 fourth-ranked Minden Whippet volleyball team got its 2012 season off to the right start on Thursday.
The Whippets were on the road taking on the Class B Lexington Minutemaids for the season opener. Minden made short work of Lexington downing them in straight sets by scores of 25-11, 25-6 and 25-9.
