Whippets Dominate Districts, Qualify Six to State

It was a fantastic outing for the Minden boys wres- tling team when they traveled to Ogallala High School for districts on Feb.10 and Feb 11. The Whippets placed fifth out of 12 schools with an overall team score of 116.5.

Minden found plenty of success on the mat both days, sending six wrestlers to state. Harrison Reed (113), Cade Harsin (120), Koltyn Heath (126), Orrin Kuehn (138), Braxton Janda (183) and Daulton Kuehn (285) all quali- fied for state at their respective weight class.

State wrestling will take place on Feb.16-18 in Omaha at the CHI Health Center.
