Whippets Down Broken Bow

The Minden Whippets girls basketball team has its first winning streak of the 2017-18 season following Friday’s home contest hosting the Broken Bow Indians in a Southwest Conference clash.
Minden evened its record at 2-2 on the year picking an eight point victory 37-29 over the visiting Indians.
Minden was led by Jensen Rowse with a career high 24 points and 15 rebounds to record her first double-double as a Whippet. Rowse made 6 of 8 from three point land and also went 3-4 from two point range. Alex Bauer followed with five points with Madsen adding four points while Cayley Carpenter added three points.
