Whippets Down Patriots In “Crush It For Cancer” Game

The Minden Whippets volleyball team made “Crush It For Cancer” a big success on Oct. 22 when the Adams Central Patriots came to C.L. Jones Gymnasium.
The Whippets crowd was dressed in black Crush It t-shirts which helped to raise money for research.
The Whippets won their match against the Patriots in three sets by scores of 25-11, 25-14 and 25-16. Minden runs its record to 22-2 heading into the Southwest Conference tournament.
Minden was led to the win over Adams Central by Carlie Bauer with a team-high 13 kills followed by Jenna Denney with nine, Rebecca Stewart four, Emily Malcom three, Addi Woodward two and Josie Madsen one.
