Whippets End Season With Victory Over Shelton In Three

The Minden Whippets volleyball team concluded its 2010 regular season schedule on Thursday when they scheduled a finale against the Shelton Bulldogs.
Minden hosted the Bulldogs in C.L. Jones Gymnasium with the Lady Whippets coming out on top of a three set decision by scores of 25-10, 25-15 and 25-19.
Minden will enter subdistricts in Grand Island Nov. 1-2 with a record of 23 wins and 4 losses.
Hallie Bauer and Bailie Muller paced Minden with 18 kills. Bauer and Muller each had a team-high nine kills followed by Carlie Bauer with six. Alaina Boudreau and Cassandra Choquette chipped in with three kills each.
