Whippets Fall To Haymakers, 70-48

The Minden Whippet boys basketball team opened play after nearly a week off on Friday when they hosted the Cozad Haymakers in C.L. Jones Gymnasium.

The Whippet boys played good for three quarters but in the fourth the Haymakers exploded and pulled away from Minden for the 70-48 win. The loss ended the Dawgs three game winning streak.

Minden falls to 9-10 on the season in this Southwest Conference battle.

Isaac Carlson led three players in double figures with a team-high 14 points, four rebounds and three assists. Ryan Chramosta added 13 points while Jonas Lovin chipped in with 11 points.
