Whippets Medal Three At State Wrestling

State tournament action took place throughout Feb- ruary 16-18 in Omaha for the Minden Whippets. Minden placed 12 out of 43 schools at the class B level with an overall score of 49.

It was a tremendous showing for Orrin Kuehn (49-5) who managed to earn a bronze medal at the 138 weight class. Daulton Kuehn(46-8) finished his Whippet career finishing with a fifth place medal at the 285 weight class. Braxton Janda medaled at sixth for Minden at the 182 weight class.

It was a great season for the Whippets and the wres- tling program will look to build off this momentum go- ing into next year!
