Whippets Ninth At Valentine Invite

The Minden Whippets boys wrestling team was in action on Dec. 17-18 in the two-day Valentine Invitational.

The Whippets placed ninth overall scoring 118.5. Winner, S.D. won the tourney with 235.5 followed by Broken Bow with 204 and Valentine with 193.5.

Minden had eight medalists in the meet led by Robert Nelson taking third at 120 and Orrin Kuehn at 132 while Evan Smith was fifth at 152 and Daulton Kuehn fifth at 220.
