Whippets Roll Over Panthers

The Minden Whippet gridders, following their tough overtime loss at GICC the previous week, were back on the road on September 7, this time to Geneva to face the Fillmore Central Panthers. A more favorable outcome was the result this time as the Whippets downed FC 33-7 to go 1-1 on the season.
Minden was dominant from the outset on both sides of the ball. Quin Rutt got MHS on the board with a first quarter six yard run. Alexis Ciprian toed the extra point giving the Dawgs a 7-0 lead. Ryan Chramosta galloped 48 yards to paydirt later in the opening period and following another accurate boot from Ciprian Minden was on top 14-0.
