Whippets Rout Cozad

The Minden Whippet boys basketball team had its game moved ahead one day to Thursday to beat the snow storm that hit the area. Minden traveled to Cozad to take on the Haymakers and made quick work of the home team on Bill Ramsay Court.
Minden improved its record to 15-1 with a decisive 73-32 victory over the Haymakers.
The Dawgs had three players reach double-digits in their most recent victory led by seniors Carson Blum, Derek Kissinger and Christian Schwenka.
Blum led Minden with 20 points including eight field goals and 4 of 5 from the foul line. Schwenka added 11 points on five field goals and one free throw while Kissinger also registered 11 points on four field goals and 3 of 4 from the foul line.
