Whippets Run At Waverly Invitational

The Minden Whippets cross country teams loaded up the bus and headed Lincoln to compete in the Waverly Invite loaded with larger schools than the Class C Whippets.
Trevor Jacobsen had a great race for the Dawgs placing in the top five. Jacobsen took fourth overall for Minden completing the course in a time of 17:08.7 at the Pioneers Park venue.
Leobardo Iniguez was the second Whippet to cross the finish line in 49th place in 19:22.2 followed by Zack Rehtus in 54th position in 19:32. Nicolas Brandt was 61st in a time of 20:00 and Austin Olson and Landon Yelken were 63rd and 64th respectively in times of 20:10.6 and 20:11.0.
