Whippets Score Season High 92 In Home Victory

The Minden Whippets boys basketball scored a season-high 92 points on the C.L. Jones Gymnasium floor on Friday while picking up a dominating 92-35 victory over the visiting Cozad Haymakers.
Minden improves its record to 15-2 as three players reached double-figures led by Ben Petersen with 25 points followed by Carson Blum with 22 and Craig Driver with 10.
Minden led the Haymakers by 27 points after the first eight minutes of play, 30-3. Derek Kissinger led the charge with all of his nine points coming on three-pointers followed by Blum with eight points while Driver added five and Petersen four.
