Whippets Take Third In Boys And Girls Team Races At Superior Invitational

The Minden Whippet girls and boys track and field teams competed on April 17 in the ten-team Superior Invitational held in sunny and warm conditions.
The Minden girls were able to take home third place in the girls division scoring 101.5 points. Hastings St. Cecilia won the invite title with a score of 122.5 followed by Superior with 113.
The Lady Whippets were led by Addison Woodward. Woodward continued to dominate winning three more gold medals at Superior. Woodward won both the 100 and 200-meters in times of 12.84 and 26.68 respectively while also winning the long jump (15’2.5″).
