Whippets, Wildcats Golfers At Broken Bow

The Minden Whippets and Axtell Wildcats golf team traveled to Broken Bow for the Broken Bow triangular on Thursday.

The Indians won the varsity portion of the meet with a score of 181 followed by Axtell with 187 and Minden with a 191.

The Whippets varsity scores were led by Ethan DeLaet with a 43 followed by Andrew Schwenka with a 47, Max Anderson 48. Josh Pinkham and Derek Kissinger were next with 53s and Graham Schnoor had a 54.

The Cats were paced by Trevor Popple with a 45 followed by Casey Eggleston with a 46 and Trevor Fecht and Ben Mellema 48s. Dylan Thomsen was next with a 51 while Nate Nickel with a 53.
