Whippets Win Two At Raymond Central

The Minden Whippets volleyball team concluded its 2014 regular season on Thursday making the long trek to Raymond Central for triangular action.
The Whippets made the trip worth the while picking up two wins over Palmyra and Raymond Central to go into subdistrict with a record of 19-8.
Minden was able to defeat Raymond Central easily in two sets by scores of 25-14 and 25-12.
Addi Woodward had seven kills to lead the team followed by Emily Malcom with five, Rebecca Stewart, Josie Madsen and Ali Rowse with three each, Sam Clapper two and Amanda Wubbenhorst and Robin Carlson one each.
Rowse had 20 assists while Woodward added three. Stewart and Woodward each had two ace serves while Jenae Boudreau and Josie Madsen had one each.
