Wilcox-Hildreth was upended in the season opener as Southwest topped the Falcons 46-34 at Bartley on August 28.
Southwest led 7-0 after one quarter, scoring on a three-yard run and conversion pass.
In the second period both teams lit it up with Southwest outscoring the Falcons 27-20 in the quarter for a halftime lead of 34-20. Triston Nicks got W-H on the board with a two-yard TD run but the conversion failed. The Roughriders answered with a TD run and conversion run, a TD pass with no conversion, then went up 27-6 on a TD pass and another conversion run. Gaige Ritner then hauled in a 15-yard TD reception from Nicks but the conversion kick was no good. Southwest responded with a touchdown run and conversion run and W-H closed the first half scoring with a Grayson Sheen 26 yard scoring strike from Nicks and a Logan Knaus conversion kick.
