This year the FBLA and FFA set out to achieve an amount of food never collected before to donate to our local food pantry. We knew it was a hard year to collect food and be safe in doing so, but also knew how much of a need there would be for families in our community.
Last year we set a goal of 1,500 items and we fell a few hundred short not getting a day off of school. This year we set a high goal and continually encouraged our students, faculty, and community to keep bringing in food. We exceeded our goal by hundreds of items to donate to the Wilcox Food Pantry. We ended up with almost 2,100 items.
