Wilcox-Hildreth Public Schools will see a change in administration for the 2019-20 school year. Former principal Justin Patterson is the new superintendent of WHPS and Shannon Lovin has filled the recently vacated principal role.
Patterson has been a part of the Falcon family for many years. He began as a 5-8 Social Studies teacher and moved through the ranks as Assistant Principal, Principal, and finally Superintendent. After so many years in the district, he is ready to address the needs of the schools in a new capacity.
“As a first year superintendent, my biggest challenges will be focused around school finance,” Patterson said. “One of my main goals is to continue the financial wellbeing of the school district in order to provide the students of Wilcox-Hildreth with the best educational opportunities possible.”
