Wilcox-Hildreth’s Adam Fourth At Gibbon Invite

The Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons and Axtell Wildcats cross country teams got their 2010 season off and running on Thursday competing in the very demanding Gibbon Invitational held at Gibbon’s Valley View golf course.
The Axtell Lady Cats team placed ninth overall in the girls team standings with a team total of 145. Bertrand won the meet with 40 edging Adams Central with 41 and Kearney Catholic with 47.
Wilcox-Hildreth’s Olivia Adam had the best area performance. Adam was making her cross country debut on Thursday at Gibbon and handled the hills to place fourth overall. Adam crossed the finish line in a time of 17:34.31.
