Wildcat Boys Get First Victory

Axtell’s boys earned their first win with a victory over Overton 67-41 on December 11 in Axtell. The Cats moved to 1-3. 

The contest was all Axtell in the early going. The Cats were ahead 21-6 after the first quarter and dominated the Eagles 15-2 in the second for a halftime lead 36-8. 

The teams played a mostly even third quarter, the Cats having a 13-12 edge to go up 49-20. Then in the fourth Overton closed with a 21-18 advantage.
