Wildcats Drop Opener To Bulldogs, 70-59

The Axtell Wildcat boys basketball team opened its 2010-11 season on Thursday when they traveled to Pleasanton to take on the Bulldogs in a early Fort Kearny Conference clash.
Pleasanton used a big fourth period to pull out an 11 point home court win over the Cats 70-59.
Heath Anderbery led three Wildcats in double figures with a team-high 18 points followed by Erik Lundeen and Brandon Benson with 14 points each.
Anderbery added 10 rebounds while Bryce Runge grabbed a team-high 11 boards in the loss.
