Wildcats Score Highest Point Total in the Last Three Years Against Hi-Line

Axtell’s boys put up their highest point total since January of 2020 winning at home over Hi-Line (Eustis/Farnam-Elwood) 83-58. The Cats climbed to 8-6. They matched the 83 scored against Southwest three years ago. Earlier that season they hit 93 vs. Hi-Line.

Axtell got a layup from Jake Halvorsen off the opening tip four seconds into the game and the Cats led 9-0 before less than two minutes had elapsed. They were up by as much as 22-4 at the 2:00 mark. A banked three-pointer by Hi-Line at the first quarter horn made it 25-12 at the break. Cooper Miller (11) and Jake Halvorsen (8) helped get the Cats off to their fast start.
