Wildcats Top Ansley, 62-42

The Axtell Wildcats boys basketball team wrapped up its 2010 regular season on Friday when they traveled to Ansley to take on the Warriors.
Axtell ends the regular season with a record of 11 wins and 9 losses. The Cats were led by Bryce Runge with a team high 28 points and 15 rebounds. Erik Lundeen added 12 points while Heath Anderbery had seven rebounds, six assists and two points.
Axtell built a two point lead after the first period 17-15. In the second stanza, Axtell widened its lead over the Warriors outscoring them 13-8 to go into halftime holding a 30-23.
